COURTS

The District Attorney's Office prosecutes criminal cases primarily in the Superior Courts of Murray and Whitfield Counties and prosecutes delinquency actions in the Juvenile Courts of both counties. The District AttorneyϦfice does interact with and receive cases from other local courts, primarily Magistrate Court and represents the State when criminal convictions are appealed to the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia. The District AttorneyϦfice is also a member of the Conasauga Drug Court Program.
